How Lucky Are We?

Nestled in the heart of Williamsburg, Iowa, 1890 Lofts features a beautiful renewal of classical lofts and retail space. Mackenzie Galli, the owner of the building, sought a locally prideful, interactively attractive and boldly happy mural project to highlight the space, leading to the creation of ‘How Lucky Are We?’.

Featuring a local farm landscape set against a friendly, colorful sky; its welcoming invitation to the new building has been a popular reminder in the town of why they choose to call Williamsburg home.

This mural may be my favorite public art piece I’ve ever created. The combination of local resident input with the freedom to work in my style and color palette created exciting breakthroughs in my creative process. I’m so grateful I was the artist chosen for this piece.
